Why do people drink? There're plenty of reasons. Some drink to forget, some to remember. Some 'cause it's fun. Some 'cause it's soothing. Some people drink to get warm, some people to be cool. Alcohol dispreads love and hatred, brings people together and takes them apart.
To me, drinking is clarifying. A soft toxicating feeling of braincells dying, like springcleaning, replacing the old braincells that are littered with useless everyday information, with pure clean new cells.
Why do you like alcohol, drugs or any hallucinogens? Because for that brief moment when you are under the effect of those things, all the mental blocks and doors you have subconsciously created to protect yourself or to let yourself be influenced by the society of moral, marketing and information overflow you live in, are gone,' and then all that is left is you.
If you'd ask me if alcohol and drugs are good for you, I'd say no, because they're still poisons that destroy your brain and finally kill you. But then I would ask you, when you are about to die, and look back on life, what do you want to see.
